Learned something here... Parallel vs relative modes; so as I augment the tech portion of my studies I need to get with the parallel modes; which shouldnt be a problem - I am very comfortable with the relative - which is what I was taught and studied, but it seems the parallel modes are more commonly used - those and the swing eighths (my last post) ought to get me closer to removing the stiffness or rigidity I hear; and that listeners deem - somethings still missing; its not quite right... Thanks to Paul Perez for his simple honest feedback... You have to learn to swing.
