Learning Support Officer Description Learning Support Officer Role: To assist staff, students in the classroom and playground Action: Undertake training in a variety of programs to support students. Assist with organising, making resources as required. Support identified students. Support staff. Organise parent/ carer-teacher interviews as required. Support students/ staff in classroom and playground. Other actions as required. Criteria: Ability to take direction from staff but also to show initiative within the classroom to support student learning. Ability to prioritise tasks. Punctual. Good communication skills both written and oral. Ability to establish positive relationships with students, parents and staff. Able to maintain confidentiality. Conditions: 4 weeks trial. Prohibited persons check. 8.45 to 3.00pm this includes a 10 min paid break and half unpaid break.
