Learning about geishas today... Ive heard there are actually some male geishas im going to look into that too... it seems like a lot of cultures that go far back in history... are very suppresive of women... its says in my history book during the hunting and gathering era of pre history... that man and women were both of equal height.... and were both treated eqaully... and than they started growing taller than women in the agriculture era... because of there diet in more protein... and so began the suppression of women... because men wanted to keep manly traditions such as hunting alive... and viewed agriculture as being more feminine... the first civilizations started in the middle east... first catal hayuk than jerchico that i belive sumer..... its hard to change things like this because its culturally differences.... it seems like thats a common theme though in modern history is changing all the ancient ways and bringing things into a more modern era... on global scale https://youtube/watch?v=mIdgqWPdsA0
