Learning the basics of how to save another persons life is not a skill that should be limited to first responders or military. Every person , armed or not should know the fundamentals. There are few things in the world worse than watching someone bleed to death or otherwise dying and not know how to help keep them alive. This class is open to all regardless of experience level , in fact people that are not first responders would have most to gain from this. By the time EMS arrives the individuals fate is usually sealed unless intervention has been started by bystanders. Reality based training from professionals who have had first hand experience living the curriculum.
