Leave it up to Tavis Smiley to try to have the conversation about using religion as a source of humor like Charlie Hebdos publication in Paris. Is this form of humor religious bigotry? All anyone was worried about was freedom of speech. But you have to call it what it is. When you DONT make jokes, poke fun and ridicule people about their beliefs, their faith, and their God. .it is called RESPECT. In case anyone has forgotten it. Thats right - theres a word you dont ever hear in the news. Respect-for yourself Respect-for others Respect-your elders Seems that we are missing an integral piece of what it takes for all of us to get along. Dont get me wrong. These people that kill in the name of God are not holy people if Satan has filled their heads with visions of greatness and importance by doing these acts. But if we make fun of what they are doing, thats not gonna resolve anything. I dont know the answers...only God does! All we can do is pray for them.
