Leavenworth was great except for one shopping experience. I encourage you NOT to shop in the Australian store called Agape Outback. From the second we walked in the guy at the door started looking Jordan up and down but didnt give me or Josh a second glance. After purchasing a couple things we were walking out the door and the gentleman didnt ask me or Josh for receipts, but asked Jordan for one. If you could of seen the look on his face as if he thought for sure he had stolen it. Jordan pulled out his receipt and showed him of course, but I made sure to ask why WE didnt get asked. He got uncomfortable and walked away. I went to the owner and let her know what happened and that we will NOT be back to support her store. After leaving Jordan told me he watched him like a hawk as he walked thru the store. I wish I didnt purchase from them. The look of defeat on my sons face was so sad. I dont know if it was being biracial, being a teenager or both, but its still discrimination and DISGUSTING!!
