Leaving Austria now en route to the tiny principality of Liechtenstein . Austria is a beautiful country with green gentle rolling hills like in the movie, Sound of Music with the snow capped Alps in the background. Its very clean and the air crisp and chilly at this time. They speak German in Innsbruck where we stayed for a night. Just when I perfected my Italian accent which sounds more like the count in Sesame Street, here comes another language. Anyway, Innsbruck is the headquarters and manufacturing plant of Swarovsky crystals. We had a tour of the place. Shiny, shimmering splendid, indeed. It was also host to one of the Winter Olympics I forgot which year. Our hotel was across the Olympic stadium. I got the chance to watch a hockey practice game last night at the arena and had their famous pretzel. Vienna is about a 4 hour drive from Innsbruck. I heard its even more prettier there. I wished it was part of the itinerary. Temperature today is in the high 60s. Bright and sunny. It was lovely visiting this country that bears my namesake and also if you dont know its where Arnold Swarzenegger is from. Just like what he said in the movie, Austria, Ill be back, Of course with a thick German accent. Bis nachher. Auf wiedersehen. Thats, see you later. Bye, in German.
