Lebanese communist party (LCP) The 31 anniversary of the Lebanese Patriotic Resistance Front Let’s make from this great national anniversary A step toward democratic resisting secular Lebanon September 16 1982, a date that is carved with glory in the history of our country, the Arab world and in mind of the world’s free people. In this date the people of Lebanon, workers and revolutionary intellectuals, youth, men and women, stood up to erase from Beirut the grubby traces of the Zionists and explode from the capital a new form of movement still its traces deep in the heart of every person who participated in raising the flag of struggle for liberation, social progress and change. It is “JAMOUL”, the Lebanese Patriotic Resistance Front, which won over those who called for submission to defeat. JAMOUL gathered waves of the Lebanese people who came from all over Lebanon to answer its call. They kicked the invaders out and pulling with them the all imperialist forces the multinational forces which came to support the imperialists and work for them. It is JAMOUL which erased the traces of the savage Israeli agression and liberate Beirut, the mountain, West Bekaa and changed the coastal way toward the south into “death path for the invaders”… with other resistance that came from other sources, JAMOUL did not give the enemy a chance to rest from Sidon up to south of the south. In the day of JAMOUL we glorify all the martyrs of the resistance against the Israeli occupation, especially the martyrs who were captured by the Zionists and died in their capture. Also we glorify the previously captured and the wounded and all who participated in defending for their country. To we call again to get back the resisting national activity and the resistance gets back to its position and role in connecting liberation with change. The imperialist forces are still working on its aggressive projects, even though there is a kind of lowering the tone of aggressiveness. The conspiracies, with their multidimensional parts, are still trying to override the Lebanese and the Syrian territories and passing the project that will get rid of the Palestinian cause. The imperialist forces is benefiting from fishy role of the Arab league and the backward Arab system and their rulers who did not understand, or do not want to understand, their people’s ambitions to freedom, dignity, democracy and social justice, specially the youth. The aggressive multinational gathering of the enemy, the imperialists, again in the Mediterranean and the red sea, adding to that what is going on our southern borders, Israeli – American military maneuvers and internal paralysis that opened the doors of the country for security penetrations require from the popular forces to move very quickly, on all levels, to fight to get the act of JAMOUL back in defending the country and protecting it from conspiracies or to develop the will of radical change which appeared in tens of demonstrations and movements.
