Lecanto blanks ’Canes By Dave Pieklik LECANTO — Lecanto shut out Citrus 6-0 in girls soccer Tuesday on the school’s Senior Night as the teams returned from a two-week holiday break. Kayci Lindquist scored two goals and had an assist after being moved from defense to forward for the game. Teammates Hannah Herber, Stephanie Bandstra and Abigail Skinner also tallied goals, with goal keeper Megan Houpt scoring on a penalty kick midway through the game. With district playoffs starting next week, Lecanto head coach Ty Hamilton made a few roster adjustments.
