Leecee update: She has been whining during the past two nights, not from pain but from hunger. She is on a strict diet and I can only allow her to eat 1/2 cup of a chicken and rice blend 2 times a day with mini bone treats (5 calories each) throughout the day. However, I have been sneaking her a couple of those bones during the night. She has lost a bit over a pound since she got hurt and has to loose another 3 to 4 lbs says the vet. This may help her walk again as it will take less weight off of her rear legs. It is like letting your child go to bed hungry and listening to her whine witch makes it worse. But we are dealing with it. Brighter days are coming! (nights too).
