Left Behind...Blood Moons...ISIS invading America... Hot topics in some quarters these days. Here are my predictions concerning some of the rumors I have heard from fellow Christians, covering now until the national election of 2016: 1. Millions of Christians will NOT disappear. Infidels, pagans, and Rapture-resistant Christians (like me) will NOT be LEFT BEHIND. 2. However, I predict that flamboyant, emoting televangelists WILL continue to enrich themselves selling refried rapture theories. 3. John Hagee will continue to fleece the sheep and promote his Blood Moons (4 lunar eclipses coinciding with 2 consecutive Passovers and Succoths) nonsense. 4. There will be no admission of error from Blood Moon sensationalists for the fact that no uniquely startling prophetic events occurred this year on Passover or Succoth (April 15, October 8). 5. The two remaining Blood Moons will, in fact, occur next year on Passover and Succoth, but will not be accompanied by obvious, undeniably connected prophetic events. 6. But Jim Bakker and others who have promoted this wasteful, fruitless sensationalism will NOT admit their error. 7. And none will acknowledge that the relevant Bible verse - Joel 2:31 - calls not only for a blood moon but also for a DARKENED SUN. 7a. I predict that the lunar eclipses of 2015 will not be accompanied by the Joel 2:31 darkened sun. But I also predict that John Hagee will not mention this. 8. Barack Obama will not cancel the 2016 election and continue in office past his second term. He will be replaced by a different tool in January of 2017. 9.
