Left London yesterday and arrived in Wales after a hair raising drive, nothing like trying to navigate buses, taxis, crazy Aston Martin drivers all on the WRONG side of the road! :) It is beautiful here, so green! We saw wild ponies, Brecon Beacon national park, Caerphilly Castle, where my ancestor, Roger Mortimer has a statue along with King Edward II, Queen Isabella and Hugh Dispenser and it told the story of how Mortimer and Isabella took the throne from King Edward II and Dispenser, had them executed and sat on the throne of England for 3 years, until Edward the III took it back. Awesome to be in the exact place where all that took place and walk in their footsteps!
