Left camp following rain. Took bits of 4 antlers. Saw 2 small caribou groups on the haul road near Prudhoe. A lot of construction and delays. We get off 20 minutes late only to wait at the driveway for a pilot car: truck goes by 2 tractor-trailers and an AT&T truck go North. Another construction pickup is waiting to go South. Last postcard off to Cassie to NASA HQ. Final breakfast with Sally headed back to SB on Monday, and the NEON guys, and Regina B. from 94551. V flying back to FAI on Era (now Ravn) from USU Logan and from East of Reno. We talk about Arctic Char (2 kinds of Arctic lakes those with Char, and those with trout and other fish like sculpin ) and Pyramid Lake. John going to BRW for 2 days. Summer (driver) is a 5 season Chosen Frozen with an dramatic over winter storm --160 MPH winds, condition 1 (cant leave bldgs) on garbage detail and Haz-mat clean up. And a camp driver take another vehicle down. Calls to Frank (sick in Snowbird) and Cindy. I forgot to add something: One of the guys in camp was out working alone when he noticed that a wolf was stalking him. He was a lone manegy old thing, he said. But he stood up and got his bear spray out. So the wolf kept his distance and then gave up and left. Off to Anchorage.
