Left my bag at the Tsawwassen Quay unattended for mere moments as I scurried in for a quick bathroom break. Tiny bathrooms, large luggage. Does not compute. I return to my bag, and a very stern lecture from a security woman, as follows: Security: Miss! Is that your bag? Me: Yes Security: You absolutely cannot leave your bag unattended at any airport or ferry terminal! Me: Oh, sorry *attempt to go back about my business* Security: (extended lecture) including After 9-11, we automatically assume any unattended luggage is a Terrorist BOMB! Me: A terrorist bomb? Seriously? What reason would Canada have to create a cover for invading eastern countries? We have plenty of oil. Security: *Blank stare* Me: Have a nice day :) Ash: 1 Fear tactics: 0
