Left my car at the CAR WASH for a few hours yesterday for the MAJOR DETAIL PACKAGE which was $170 - and when I got there to PICK UP MY CAR - my CONVERTIBLE TOP (that they claimed they had power washed) had FAINT BROWN SPOTS all over it...The Owner insisted the spots were burns from the sun or rust stains from the metal frame below the fabric of the top. I asked IF that was the case WHY had my TOP never looked like that during a REGULAR CAR WASH or during the RAIN?...He offered me a few FREE CAR WASHES to try and rectify the situation...which ONLY irritated me more and made me feel as though he was TRYING TO INSULT MY INTELLIGENCE simply because I was a woman. Well after MAKING a SCENE and letting him know I was NOT LEAVING until the SITUATION was CORRECTED or part of my money REFUNDED - he agreed to WASH the TOP one more time. I told him I WOULD BE STAYING on SITE to WATCH this time and make sure it was done correctly and to MY SATISFACTION.. And isnt it AMAZING after they POWER WASHED, SCRUBBED it and dried it AGAIN the BROWN SPOTS were gone....For my time and inconvenience I made him give me 3 FREE SUPER WASHES for $25.95 ea Sometimes MEN underestimate US WOMEN and when they do (as in this case) it only ends up COSTING THEM MORE ;-)
