Left my work site at Rogers & Caledonia Roads at 7PM. I got back to my office in Scarborough at Hwy 2 and Port Union at 8.30PM. How did I do it so fast in this ridiculous snow? I stayed off the 401. I stayed off the DVP. I did what ALL Toronto commuters should do. FIND ALTERNATE ROUTES. Most of the streets were nearly traffic free...in fact, lighter than any rush hour. Aside from some construction diversions and frequent buses breaking down (WTF TTC?)...it was a steady 40 to 50Kms all the way home.
