Left the house this morning at 7:00 am. Got home at 5:45. Bone tired and weary. Feeling disrespected and unappreciated. Tims surgery was delayed because the labs had to be done to see if his body could handle the surgery and apparently the lab was behind. Surgery went well. Staff was great. That staff rushed to get Tim to the cancer center for his appointment for more labs where we waited and waited. Then the lab said the nurses in chemo could draw the blood. Then we waited and waited to be seen by the oncologists PA. Got that done. Went to scheduling. Got that done. Then we waited and waited to go to chemo. Posted in every area of the cancer center are signs saying how important it is for patients to be on time.? Are other patients causing the folks who are on time to wait? I feel very very disrespected. No I feel insignificant. So many of these people just smile and nod and act like I am an insignificant idiot. Tim? Yeah hes an I I too.
