Left us on this day (Nov. 29) in 1992: British singer-songwriter & producer Paul Ryan (cancer, age 44), who, along with his twin brother Barry, performed as Paul & Barry Ryan during the ’60s; they scored such minor successes as Dont Bring Me Your Heartaches (1965), Have Pity on the Boy (1966) & Missy Missy (1966); the stress of public attention caused Paul to retreat into the background, while Barry went solo; Paul Ryan wrote Barrys 1968 UK #2 hit, Eloise, the 1971 hit Who Put The Lights Out? for Dana & another of his songs, I Will Drink the Wine, was a UK hit single for Frank Sinatra; in 1986, punk band The Damned reached UK #3 with their version of Eloise...(Im going to guess that this fab slice of pop-psych harmony Pictures of Today is new to most of you...check it out, plus...cool jackets!)
