Legendary best-selling youth author and two-time Newbery Medal winner Lois Lowry will be joined by Academy Award-winning actor Jeff Bridges at Barbara Stripling’s ALA President’s Program & Awards Presentation, 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 29 at the American Library Association Annual Conference. Stripling will conduct an interview with Lowry, then Bridges will join them to talk about the movie version of Lowry’s “The Giver,” in which he stars and which is scheduled for an August release. The program will wrap up with a Q&A with the audience. #alaac14 #TheGiver
