Leggett Sentenced For Burglary DA David Soares announced today that a teen has been sentenced after he pleaded guilty to burglary. According to reports, 17-year-old Shieer Leggett had entered a home on Clinton Avenue in Albany with a gun in hand and held two teens under the age of 16 at gunpoint. Leggett robbed the teens of their cell phones, a television and various other household items and then fled the scene. As part of his plea deal he had pleaded guilty to a charge of attempted burglary in the second-degree. He was sentenced to five years in prison that will be followed by three years of post release supervision.
