Legion Family, I learned yesterday that our Department Adjutant declined to be hospitalized for a heart condition. He said they wanted to do more testing. Some of his numbers were elevated and he asked me what atrial fibrillation was. I explained this and that the dangers of atrial fib is a blood clot forming and causing a stroke. His doctor started him on blood thinners. Charlie Knox can be a private man, but not letting you all know, means you do not know the great need for prayers. Please pray for Charlie and Connie, who also has health problems. I know that by my sending this one email, we could have 64,000 members of our American Legion family praying. Please do not call them, but call upon our maker to be with them. I added being quite and relaxed this weekend to his other medical orders. Lynne Rollins, Department Commander American Legion Department of Georgia.
