Legitimate giving to legitimate missionary groups is necessary for the evangelization of the world in every generation. Your giving to those who are not Doctrinally oriented is money thrown away. You are to be a good steward of your money and know where it goes when you toss it into the collection basket. Ask the deacons what they do with the money you give and if it is not going where it should you need to stop giving there and find a place that disseminates Doctrine, i.e., the true Gospel.
