Lekgwathi ready for Musona – this time Orlando Pirates captain Lucky Lekgwathi says his one-on-one battles with Knowledge Musona on Saturday will turn out differently than they did three years ago ... Bucs clash with Amakhosi at FNB Stadium in the Carling Black Label Cup this weekend, with ‘Knodgy’ likely to take to the pitch as a substitute in his first official game since his return. Lekgwathi, who turns 37 on August 1, is still being teased about an incident that happened on November 13, 2010. On that day, the Zimbabwean forward left Lekgwathi for dead on a few occasions and grabbed a brace as Amakhosi ran out 3-1 winners. But the Bucs veteran, who was playing at left-back that day, can smile about it now. “About Musona, he must be ashamed of himself! He was 20 years old and I was 35,” Lekgwathi jokes. On a serious note, though, the defender says he will be ready for Musona if the latter gets to play. “I was playing out of position that day, but we will see on Saturday who is the boss,” Lekgwathi adds.
