Lemon Ginger Tea Recipe Ingredients: Fresh ginger – 80g Fresh cinnamon piece (finger-length size) Water – 8 cups 4-5 honeyed red dates 5 tbsp lemon juice Optional (just before you serve the tea) – 1 tsp of honey Steps: 1. Clean the ginger and peel off the skin. Cut it into thin slices. 2. Clean the cinnamon well to remove any dirt on it. 3. Boil the water in a pot and when boiling, add the ginger, red dates and cinnamon. 4. Lower the heat and let simmer for 20-25 minutes. Add the lemon juice after that time. 5. Sieve the ginger, cinnamon and red dates. You can eat the dates or serve it in the tea. 6. Serve it in a tea cup with some biscuits!
