Lemurs which live in larger groups seem to know not to steal food when someone is watching. New research has shown that lemur group size may be better at predicting social intelligence than brain size. Lemurs were given a choice of being able to steal food from a human facing them or with their back turned. Ring-tailed lemurs and lemurs from larger groups took food from people with their back turned more often than lemurs from smaller groups. sciencenews.org/view/generic/id/351237/description/Lemurs_group_size_predicts_social_intelligence
