If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 4:10,11 (NIV) Keys are used to lock and unlock things we possess that hold some type of perceived value. As a result, we tend to take special care of the key and in some instances, secure a back-up. But did you know that a key is stored within us each time God reveals himself to us in His Word? If you don’t believe me, sit in a room with other women and listen to them share their “story”, their “key”. Daughters, it is healthy for us to share what God has done in our lives with one another. We are his mouth-piece to the world. We are his mouth-piece to one another. Lies are eradicated in our heart when we listen to the testimony of another person who went through the same thing that we went through and came out on the other side better than before. Hope is created when we share the keys that our sweet Lord has given us. So don’t hesitate and don’t shrink back when He presents an opportunity for you to share your story. Lend them your key. Prayer: Father, I have been so distracted by the concerns of my own heart that I have failed to be a witness to the people in your heart. Thank you for reminding me that you gave us Your Word so that we would share it with those who need it. Your Word is my key and I choose to share it. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
