Lenten Discipleship Challenge (Mar 10) Invitation from God #6 An Invitation to Care for those in need “ Come, you who are blessed by my Father. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.’ Mt 25:34-36 [ ] Spend time today reflecting on the corporal works of mercy. Make a plan to live out one of these actions sometime in Lent e.g. sign up to serve a meal at a homeless shelter, visit someone who is ill, or donate some clothing to a charity that serves the poor. If you belong to IC parish, you may choose to donate to our Lenten Alms giving project (Clean Water Project by the Sister of Notre Dame to provide clean drinking water to children in countries in Africa) or to the Catholic Ministries Appeal of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.
