Leon update - The boy is still at the vets and remains on a drip. The in house bloods showed up as normal, so kidney/liver function is normal. They have now sent off the most detailed blood tests they do, so everything that can be tested, will be tested. Fecal samples will be taken and tested and if nothing shows from these then biopsies will be the next plan. He is eating a little which is an improvement from Saturday and as long as there are positives and he is not suffering (which he isnt) then we will fight his corner for him. People do need to be aware that should he start to show signs of pain then we may need to make decisions, but his well being is far more important than anything else. A few people have asked to visit Leon at the vets which I have had to say no to at this stage. He has people looking after him who know what they are doing and I will not bow down to tears and tantrums - Leons health is paramount and if that makes me enemies then so be it. The reason for no visitors at this time is because he still has low blood pressure due to whatever is causing his problems and this happens in moments of excitement, ie meeting new people. Do not take this personally. The rule is the same for everybody. Yes, I have had the last say so on Leon on all aspects of his life, but please remember that he is my dog and for the foreseeable future, this will continue. I would much prefer to look forward now and I hope to post positive updates, but at the same time, things could go either way for this lad.
