Leonard Fein, co-founder (with Elie Wiesel) and editor of Moment magazine, progressive, fighter for human rights, passionate Zionist, and friend, has died. Though we often disagreed on a Israeli policies, Leibel--as all affectionately called him--was always worth listening to, and even when we differed we did so out of love for the Jewish people and our State. May your memory be blessed, Leibel, and your legacy of liberal Zionism live on forever.
