Leonard, aka Lenny finally left the vet today and is with his foster mom! He is a little overwhelmed and has a slight URI, but he has already fallen in love with his foster. He is currently cuddled up in her lap, winding down after a stressful day. He is around d 12-14 years old, overweight and trying to understand that people are good. Its working. His foster is showering him wi th love. And he is a perfect example of the importance of foster based rescues. He would not do well in a cage and at his age shouldnt have to. He was surrendered by his family. He was left to die at animal control. He has his medical issues but we are set on finding him somewhere to spend the rest of his golden years.
