Leporinus nijsseni; one of the most beautiful Leporinus species, In Oyapock river, French Guiana in South America. It reaches around 17 cm. Therefore it needs a big tank and lots of places to hide. It is very full of energy, always active. It eats every thing: insects, plants, seeds, shirmps, plants.... It loves currents as it always occurs in the rapids, but it also inhabits small streams wiith slow current.
