Lernerville had the track amazing last night. Wicked fast with grooves all over. Though it was a blast to drive, at the same time, that was also the nail in our coffin. I drove as hard as I could and we were still a consistent 1.5 seconds off the leaders. Just not enough engine yet to compare to the outlaws. I qualified 35 out of 42. Started and finished last in the heat race but never lost ground to those in front. Track came to us more for the B-Main and we made a charge from 15th to about 8th or so but obviously missed the transfer. Overall, it wasnt a horrible outing considering the cards we were dealt. Just sucks knowing you have to rely on luck to make the show when you dont have Outlaw style equipment and experience. We will focus on finding some extra horsepower and give these guys a race next year!! The year isnt over yet but I wouldnt be this far without my sponsors.
