Less than 24 hours ago, Jason Wright posted a message about a young man he observed in the Salt Lake Airport he felt was getting ready to serve a two year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. What touched me about his message was the message to this young mans mother if she could be found. She should know that her son has faith in his eyes and fire in his bones. (I hope one day others can see me this way) He didnt remember the young mans name only that he was going to the Ghana MTC. A few weeks ago I saw a story on some Zimbabwe Missionaries and the call to gather things for them to be able to serve missions. I knew they reported to the Ghana MTC. I simply put out an email and it was passed on to the Ghana MTC President and on to the mother. This morning I received a note from President Robinson and also the missionarys mom!!! A few things struck me this morning, although we are thousands of miles apart I could help get Jasons message go to the missionary mom all because of a article I read a few weeks ago. I love that we are a world wide church and the Lord truly looks over his flock where ever we are and when ever we need it. For a young man of 18 or 19 becoming a missionary and knowing they could go anywhere in the world....is an act of faith. I so needed this small miracle in my life today to know I too must have faith! Thank you Jason for sharing the story and thank you Grace Guymon Jones for taking the Zimbabwe Missionary story and running with it. What a great blessing it was!!! Happy Friday everyone!
