Less than 3 weeks to polling day and the mood of people I was talking to in Tokoroa today was quietly optimistic. I visited a number of new businesses excited about the future. It was great to visit another business which has seized the opportunity of ultra fast broadband and is running a high value highly customised print business from the centre of Tokoroa. There was general recognition that although we have had some tough times, as a community and as a country, we have worked hard and were heading in the right direction.
