Less than 52 hours left to back a campaign important to the arts in NJ! We are writing today to ask for your support of a Kickstarter project for ArtPride NJ since we know that our support of ArtPride indirectly generates support for WheatonArts, as well as many other NJ arts organizations we care about. ArtPride facilitates statewide arts advocacy initiatives through direct legislative interaction, appeals for public engagement, providing resources that prove the economic impact and true value of the arts ...and much more. The hotel/motel tax that now generates all state funding for the arts would likely not exist without ArtPrides vision. As you know, the arts field has been deeply impacted by the recession, and without this organization (now a national model) we would very likely loose the collective momentum that keeps all NJ state funding in place... and arts organizations stable. The rewards offered for your support have been created through a partnership with the Printmaking Center of NJ. Please pass this on to anyone else you think would be inclined.
