Less than ideal morning: Woke up realizing the humidifier didnt run so, desperately grabbing my glass of water on the nightstand, I also found out that fine-motor skills are at a minimum just after a sleep cycle and my attempt at drinking looked more like Stryker from Airplane! I then witnessed the worst flapjack flip in recent memory. Some might say I had it coming since I tried to flip the wet batter over using just the pan and a wrist flick, but to those naysayers I respond that the Wright brothers wanted a flashier way to get from point A to point B and I want the same with my pancakes. Lastly, overbearing excitement combined with a misguided real men dont need scissors attitude led to me ripping the bag of direct-from-Colombia coffee my parents got me and I was left wondering if the bag was pressurized as the finely-roasted beans soared all over the kitchen. The coffee and pancakes were good though.
