Lesson 15 (part 1) : Pocessives (singular)... --------- In this lesson we will learn how to say things like, my book … your car... his son etc.. In English... There are separates words for My, Your, His, Her, Our, Their etc.. But in Arabic, these pocessives are shown by adding a suffix to a Noun. Lets see... How do we say My Rabb, Your Rabb, His Rabb etc.. In Arabic: SINGULAR: 1. Rabbi → My Rabb 2. Rabbuka → Your (M) Rabb 3. Rabbuki → Your (F) Rabb 4. Rabbuhu → His Rabb 5. Rabbuha → Her Rabb ------------- Lets now..practise these with other words.. (House = Bayt) Bayti - my house Baytuka - ur house Baytuki - ur (f) house Baytuhu - his house Baytuha - her house Practise this with these words: 1. Son = Ibn 2. Bag = Haqeebah 3. Car = Sayyarah 4. God = ilah ---------------- We will practise these in sentences in the next post... (After 3 hours) Try to memorize these soon... Use ur hands to memorize...
