Lesson 6: On NEW Traditions (Part 1) Here it is! In celebration - TopicsExpress

Lesson 6: On NEW Traditions (Part 1) Here it is! In celebration of my 5th year of celebrating my own personal holiday, Im unveiling a bunch of new traditions! We start with our mascot. Santa, the Easter Bunny, Cupid... What would holidays be without some kind of festive mascot? In that spirit, I introduce Laszlo the Elephant! Like Jesus, Santa, and the NSA, Laszlo watches you all the time. But instead of naughty and nice lists, Laszlo keeps weird and boring lists, and rewards the weird for their openness! Have you ever worn a cape in public, just because? Laszlo likes that. Do you show an unnatural attachment to prime numbers? He likes that, too. Do you pretend your mashed potatoes and gravy are an active volcano, threatening the village of corn below? Laszlo LOVES it. So be weird, for weirdness sake! Oh, also, Laszlo is a shape-shifting elephant, in case any of you are searching for the elephant in the room. Next, I present the Parade of Fools! At some point (still TBD), Ill need some volunteers with instruments to join me on a short, relatively impromptu parade down Carson Street. As MC for this parade, Ill lead my merry band of musicians, hoopers, and general weirdos down a short path, spreading holiday joy as we go. If youre interested in participating, let me know! Sparklers, confetti poppers, and noise-makers will be provided, and since its on Carson, there will be plenty of drink both before and after! Since this post is getting a bit long, Ill leave you with those two new traditions for today, before our final reveal tomorrow! Stay weird, kids!
