Lesson: Minister Horn Sermon Topic: Who Is This Man Called Jesus? Day 3 Sermon Text: Mark 8:27 & Matthew 16:13-16 GREETINGS BELOVED! Who is this man called Jesus? The Messiah! The Son of the living God! Let us right now acknowledge something: Jesus was called many names. For example, In Matthew 9:34, the Pharisees said, He casteth out devils through the prince of the devils; while he was on the cross He was told by somebody in the crowed He was” foolish”; “If you are the Christ why don’t you save yourself”; He was called a madman because he demonstrated his authority in the temple, Matthew 21:12 (NIV) Again, His main concern is and was “Whom do we (us) say He is! I believe that’s the most important question right now. To get back to the purpose of this question, Jesus asked the question for our benefit. If we are not careful, our environment can influence our choices and behavior. The bottom line is “We need to know who Jesus is” Don’t wait until something happens! Get to know Jesus now.
