Lesson for today God is good and God is Love If you keep telling yourself these two things you can have the peace that passes all understanding in the midst of going through hell. Remembering that God is good: because is will take care of you, your not going to go hungry or thirsty, you’ll have something wear, you’ll have a roof over your head, you’ll simply have all your needs met. If he care for the sparrows, how much more will he take care of you? David said he never saw the righteous forsaken or his seed begging bread. Remembering that God is love: Because you will hit those time in your life when you’ll think you’ve done something so bad, God will not have anything else to do with you, he has forgot you, forsaken you, turned his bak on you. But you need to remember what Paul said about this in 1 Corinthians 13: 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 New International Version (NIV) 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails. God will never fail you!! And he has a lot of patients with you and he is for you, not against you! So, today, start to remind yourself of all these things. And don’t ever forget this. If he didn’t care about you, then why did he send his so Jesus to die for you? Take care and God bless, Ken Page
