Lesson from my current month-long bout with sciatica: Pain hurts. Consistent pain eventually wears you down. I become short, irritable, and less apt to think things through before acting. The next time you encounter a cantankerous or angry person, instead of reacting in kind, perhaps consider a more compassionate response. What kind of pain are they in? How long have they suffered? Is there anyway you can ease it? What might that look like? Philippians 2:3-5
