Lessons I Learnt from being a WWI and WWII Historian: (and watching the glorification of those Wars happen all over again for the pleasure of the corporate and political line) Lest We Forget the politicians who would turn people into cannon fodder for power and money. It is simpler for the corporate system to keep men in their golden cage of violence directed by politics, because whether men are sacrificed to the desk, the building site, the factory, the farm or the battlefield, the important thing is for men, women and children to die for money. Men should die for their country and for the ashes of their ancestors, and when they have no opportunity to die, the women and children in their families will suffer and die to ensure that the rage that keeps the corporations alive between wars keeps flowing through the so-called peace. This Prime Minister of ours is the worst kind of ideologue, he aches for a return to a time he never lived through and a way of killing men that will spare him and his mates. Watch him closely so you know him, he must be the last of his ilk to be given power in Australia.
