Lessons to be learned and applied. To control play, the game and...the score board, players mindset is the key factor even if there are certain technical/tactical limitations. A well developed football brain wont allow FULL SPEED actions when the opponents are compact and well organized, it wont decide on wasting energy by using long runs to chase long/high balls, it wont allow series of unnecessary fouls and tackles, it (the brain) wont allow to be rushed and give away possession and so on. It requires 7-9 years of superior forms of training to master those abilities that deal with such complex factors and variables. Thats the missing file in SA football!!
