Lest We Forget Part Two 6th November 2012 Clive Robert Benjamin Dunn died. Born in Brixton, London, Dunn was the son of actors, and the cousin of actress Gretchen Franklin. As a child, he almost died from post-operative complications after a supernumerary nipple was removed. Dunn was educated at Sevenoaks School, an independent school for boys (now coeducational). After leaving school, Dunn studied at the independent Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, in London. After the breakout of WW2 Dunn served in the army with the 4th Queens Own Hussars, during the course of which he was captured in Greece and spent four years in prisoner-of-war and labour camps in Austria. Thats four years as a slave to labour for Nazi-Germany. Private soldiers were not imprisoned in the same manner as officers. He is better known in another military role.
