Attached are some important situational commentaries and forecasts about Pakistan and how the developments in the country could prove threatening to the US Marine Corps interests. Regarding the map of Pakistan, the likelihood that US Marines would be deployed to Pakistan for an MRC (Major Regional Contingency) were shown LOW. However, there was/is a POSSIBLE likelihood that Marines might be sent to Pakistan for CT (Counter Terrorism), COIN (COunter INsurgency), NEO (Non-combatant Evacuation Operation), HA (Humanitarian Assistance) and PO (Peacekeeping Operation).
