Lest we forget too quickly (as usual), who may recall the manner in which the Lamu Gorvenor was molested by the state on suspicion of terrorism connections or when Ole Lenku and Marwa (shockingly even the President himself!) linked terror in Mombasa to the opposition?! How about the Baragoi massacre?! Whos really playing politics with terrorism or exploiting it for political ends? Is it really that laws are inadequate, have failed or is it both incompetence and corruption on the part of the law enforcement agencies and the State? Or is it that our community (Presidency) is under siege and we must therefore rally behind and protect our president regardless?! Lets sober up guys, please, and interrogate both the laws and the intentions of those behind them for stability of our countryy both present and for posterity. Politicians are just that, politicians -- whether in government or opposition. We are our own guard.
