Let NOTHING be done through STRIFE or VAIN GLORY; but in HUMBLENESS of MIND let each ESTEEM others BETTER than THEMSELVES. Look not every man on HIS OWN THINGS, but every man also on the THINGS of OTHERS (Philippians 2:3, 4)… One of the MOST DIFFICULT things to do as a Christian here in America is to SET ASIDE our own NEEDS, WANTS, and DESIRES to take the NEEDS, WANTS, and DESIRES into consideration of others whom aren’t like us. For the MAJORITY of the PREACHING coming across America’s PULPITS is that of SELF-GRATIFICATION, SELF-IMPORTANCE, and SELF-DESTINY. There’s VERY LITTLE preaching or teaching DESIGNED to COMPEL the Body of Christ to REACH OUT to the LOST SINNER with SALVATION, the HOMELESS with SHELTER, or the HUNGRY with FOOD. We snatch up and SELF-APPOINT churchy TITLES to ourselves in order to FEEL IMPORTANT and acquire PRESTIGE amongst our own, while we do NOTHING for those who can do NOTHING for us. We aren’t DOING as “unto the Lord” for Him to be GLORIFIED, but rather only for OUR OWN GLORY attached to PRIDE and ARROGANCE in an ATTEMPT to be SELF-SUFFICIENT. Is it any wonder there’s no MASS MOVEMENT in the Body of Christ to WITNESS, TESTIFY and EVANGELIZE the SINNER with the Gospel of Jesus Christ for their SOUL SALVATION? We take the STANCE - by our ACTIONS - that we have OUR salvation, so OTHERS should get THEIRS the BEST WAY they can; yet, WITHOUT us! So until the Body of Christ UNDERSTANDS that Jesus GAVE Himself for us despite having to ENDURE enormous PERSECUTION, REJECTION and SUFFERING in order to PURCHASE us, we aren’t going to SET ASIDE our own PERSONAL AGENDAS to lay OUR OWN LIVES down for anybody at all!!!
