Let Us Be Honest Everyone has faults. If we already know that we are not perfect, why does God want us to be perfect? Matthew 5:48 In the scriptures, no one has been found to be perfect. What, then, does God mean? What kind of perfection does he want? He wants us to be mature and accept that without the Holy Spirit we are not perfect. It is the Holy Spirit which will teach us how to be perfect in God’s earthly kingdom and in our spiritual journey by helping us to walk in accordance to the gifts of the Spirit. So without him, we are not nor will ever be “perfect.” ...But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance, against such there is no law, And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lust. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit, Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another, Galatians 5:22-26. And if we are in his vine and we are his branches, we shall bare much fruit and if we don’t he may prune us until we do. John 15:1-5 “For without him we can do nothing.” ... May God bless us as we proceed in walking the walk and knowing he is with us and through him everything is possible in Jesus’ name. Amen.
