Let first say that we got on them this weekend despite the weather conditions!!!! I have to say that Louisiana fisherman showed us nothing but love this weekend. Their sportsmanship far surpassed any that I have seen in Mississippi in a long time. Im not knocking anyone or Mississippi, but this past weekend we went over there and was basically fishing blind since we havent ever fished that area before. Didnt know where to go or what to use. The first day, we had only caught two trout so far and had been fishing for several hours with no great luck when all of a sudden a gentleman in a boat close by yells how many yall got? Us: 2. He says, Thats it???. Try using a chartreuse under a popping cork. What do you know, we started catching them. Thanks sir!!! The 2nd day we go out and we were the only boat out in that nasty weather, guess we were crazy, but we limited out in 3 hours. The 3rd day we go back and back at square one, trying to find them and working different colors and baits. And then out of the fog a boat rolls up and says, yall catching any? Us: couple. Gentleman says, I just limited out over here in this hole. Follow me and I will show you where its at. We go over and bam! We were on them again. What Im trying to say is, be a sport and show your fellow fisherman some love and quit being so secretive and manipulative! Theres enough fish in the water for everyone.
