Let it be Christmas! Im in the kitchen today ... baking / cooking getting ready for our annual Christmas / Santa party tomorrow night! I love this party ... the kids (and their Ma) love seeing that big ol bumbling Santa come walking through my front door! haha ... its so much fun! Im listening to this song now ... such a message of hope, peace, gentleness, healing, restoration. We have fun w/ our Santas, decorating, cooking huge meals ... but you know ... look at the results. We enjoy family, friends together loving, giving gifts. Do you know the first gift God gave to us? ... it was a child. Family is important ... take care of your children ... love them ... give and teach them to give, but also to receive. God is a giver ... he gave us Jesus, our salvation. In the stable that night ... angels watched over that sweet baby ... shepherds and wise men visited him and brought him gifts. So ... Im committed to no complaining ... relax, enjoy this wonderful season w/ the ones who walk through my door who blesses my life so much. They give me so much, and I give them all I can. We are celebrating this wonderful season w/ lights, trees, gifts, family, friends, Jesus, the love of God and yes ... even Santa! Merry Christmas! Amen!
